It's all very simple. It's keeping 1 in 50 shots and working in photoshop with the image. I take the image into Adobe CS. I use the smart sharpen feature set at 125%, sometimes more...sometimes less. I'll use the sharpen edges feature also at times. I'll do adjustments in saturation and curves. That's pretty much it.
To increase the depth of field I'll have shots where the focal point is different. I'm able to cut and paste crystal clear focus areas into my main picture. I'll work with some blur, erase and magnification to meld this layer into the main image. Last final step is taking it into neat image to clean up any noise that might be there.
